You're running a 58 3sr at 1900 rpm, with a following sea of 4knots, and a beam breeze of 12kn with 840 gallons of fuel and 150 gallons of water on board; How much fuel is used used per injector/per stroke on the plunger? BONUS: you do not have to account for propeller slip or high engine room vacuum conditions. I'll check for answers after my S,S & S. ws

YUPP!! Ya know a lot of the CLASS CLOWNS went to the other side only to be castigated by the eraser heads. STILL!!
There is never going to be a happy medium here. The other forums dont seem to have this problem with CABERNETers.
Stay away from that side and I will have the courtesy to stay out of here. If I have a tech question you can bet that I will ask a BLACK SHEEP and get a more realistic answer from a guy thats been in there and done that. ws

Eraser head, huh? Broad statement from someone I've never met, but personal insults are now the norm here, so I'll let that go.

I've gotten more answers from people that "have been there, done that" here than any forum I've participated in. I'm not sure who teh BLACK SHEEP are, but hey, if you have a line with the ninja's of tech questions, more power to ya!

Ed-- I didnt mean that to be a reflection on you; Mea Culpa !! Back in the old school days the gearheads would be hanging around getting Ds in a class that was a breaze while the eraser heads debated volumetric efficiency etc.
Today the eraser heads are all the property moguls and CEOs etc and with all the ulcers and crap that goes with it and cant even change their own oil. While the gearheads are the ones that enjoy building a hot rod or restoring a worthless old junk boat (me) and sitting around after work enjoying the fruits of their labor.

Uh, I think I know the answer to this one. Let's see, gozintas won't work. Uh, let me think a minute. I had a lot of math in college, but I can't remember that formula for calculating such things as you asked.
