Good point Doug. We cruised Tampa to Annapolis, then left the boat for about 6 weeks and came back to cruise the Annapolis to Great Lakes portion. It is a great way if you don't have time to do the whole trip. You can also try to leave your boat at a yard that you know does good work and you can contract to have some things done while you are away. This sometimes also helps to get a price break on the dockage in your absence.
