For the less informed, Pat's cell number is #109 at the Manatee County Correctional Facility in Palmetto. He was arrested for impersonating a yacht broker.

I am looking to change next year maybe to an LRC trawler or Nordhavn what do you think lets have some fun I belive one day I would love to have a big boat for sale in the water docks at the show that would be some party... If a boat is at the show in the water I would pay more for it on Wednesday than Sunday as long as I could do all the after parties

Hope I can find a 100' motorsailor with bow, stern, deck, and bottom thrusters, retractable keel, computer controlled electric winches, triple 16 Cats with waterjets, flybridge, tuna tower with outriggers, 38' Fountain dinghy, 157" plasma tv, pool table, and a big ole swim platform!

Wait a minute, I thought you were my broker? Don't be kissin up to GuzBoy, he's already fessed up that he really doesn't own that 67. He's just a Cuban stowaway who forgot to get off the boat. The owner felt sorry for him and made him a liveaboard deckhand who gets to take the boat out on week-ends for compensation. He doesn't even know how to drive it, or how to work the buttons on the chartplotter. Why do you think he's asking me to go with him all the time?

Hell, go ahead and escort him around the show. Check out that Rolex he wears, it makes a buzzin sound, and the hands go around counter-clockwise. The compass on his boat always points south, just in case he gets homesick. Remember, I told you he can't work the chartplotter.

OK, as to business, I'm about ready to compile the "cheat sheet" list, a la Ang for the CDR. Anybody who hasn't sounded off yet on coming, please indicate day(s) attending and cell# if at all possible; we can always edit later with some late additions, but it would be nice to have the list handy ASAP. Hell Bubba, the vessel I described would blow by anything on this forum! I forgot to mention it would have a 25' beam, a 1,000 Jello Shot cooler and rough water padding under the swim platform!

I'll be down thus thru sun am , hanging with the bert 31 guys(RLDT's -rolling little death traps, one of my transgessions is hang with those with poor taste in boats, as well as clear liquer, and brown and well just about any color booze) at the Ocean View just off the beach. I'll be looking for ideas on turning my 1964 41C into a express.
Let me know what your meetin place will be and I'll be sure to make it.

Left just before they reinvented the site, for whatever reasons. Been watching for awhile now. You guys are way more fun than the old crowd. Almost as much fun as www.bertram31.com . Those boys can party. Get togethers all up and down the coast, dove shooting in tx(last weekend) pheasent shoots in feb, went to tropic star in Panama for the Uncle vic Invitaional marlin tournament(veneu changed after port eads La blew off the map) 30+ of them and one hatteras owner,me , (I feel like one of those missionaries trying to conver the heathens, to no avail) at the Ft Liquerdale show over the past 5years .
Couple of you guys sound like you'd fit right in. rum runners with depth charges are the drink of the am......
