I have my Racors out of the boat to clean up, and rebuild. One needed a new bowl, and I have rebuild kits for both.
The recent thread about the orings thing made me think about what the total cost on rebuilding these filters if I need new lids and handles for both, plus I'd like to have the correct drain at the bottom.
So, the question is, do you guys still like the Fleetguard fuel filters? It seems like for what I am spending and the time and effort with these Racors, I could switch to a Fleetguard set up and have a less cumbersome, less mantainenance set of fuel filters.
I would replace the Racors and the secondary with Fleetguard stuff, I am asking what Seaboard would recommend currently.
Anyone think that is a bad idea?
