Well I guess most of you have herd what a mess Charlie Crist has been making in FL and now yet another one.

Good ole gov suntan (tree hugger) has announced that the state is buying the sugar farms near lake okeechobee. 2billion plus dollars. Wants them to quit polluting the everglades and the lake. Well the sugar farms were sued years ago and the judgment required them to clean up the mess and quit polluting. Jeb Bush releaved the sugar farms of this burden and did not make them finish the job although apparently they did make good strides. Now sugar farm is now in trouble with mounting debt (sounds familiar) and good ol gov suntan is going to bail them out by purchasing their business. And guess what once they are gone who is going to clean up the mess? ding ding ding
your guessed it the tax payers. Billionair sugar farmers get to keep their money and we dont.

I just sent the Gov another email letter asking him when he is going to buy out the marine industry. Manufacturers, marina's and also buy all the boats in the state since they are also polluting the water.

Guys I will say it again, No where in history has there been so much government corruption, out of controll spending, out of controll borrowing, selling out the american dream. Out of controll legislation that is simply killing us, inflation, oil etc etc. Everything is hitting us all at once and something is going to give somewhere and soon.

I just watched "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", and "They Live"... seems like the easy way out dont it? ws

it's not the bail out part that bothers me, it's the fact that the governemnt is spending $2B to eliminate the largest argricultural employer in the state and putting 2000 employees out of work... just to "clean"... a swamp?

spending that money of finding way to eliminate fertilizers would have been a better solution...

and doing this as sugarcane is become a better source of ethanol than corn is just plain stupid!
