Final Results

We Fished Last Weekend as prior post indicated. I reviewed the charts and figured we ran 50+ miles out of Port Canaveral Fl. 335' of water 5 guys on board and full equipment. We pulled out of the marina at 6am and returned at 630 pm only shut the engines down in the lock and at the bait dock so i figure they ran for 11.25 hours. Well I filled her up today and only took 121 gallons, sarboard tank 59 and port 62, gen pulls from port tank and it ran for at least 6 hours or more. So it appears the engines are running perfectly and it appears as economical as 454 crusaders can run so I am very happy.

So 100 miles round trip at cruise (5? hours) and another 6 hours of trolling and only burned 121 gallons? Not bad.

My old 32' Wellcraft w/ 454's would have burned that just to get out there and back.
