  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
63' MOTOR YACHT (1985 - 1987)
Still waiting for Awlwood so I'm working the bottom of the list. Had several drawers with broken nylon slides and backplates. Found a supplier for the original Hatteras type. The screw pattern is slightly different and they are a tiny bit smaller, but nothing a little sandpaper can't handle

I don’t know why Awlwood is so hard to get these days. Nobody has any in Miami... west marine has none anywhere, neither does Fisheries or defender. I was able to order 2 quarts from Jamestown today though

I found them in my local Ace Hardware store.

Jamestown, Hamilton, and Boaters Island were out and I got my 1st quart at Defender, now they're out. Got my 2nd quart (on the way) at Fisheries, now they're out... don't know where it's made but a break in the supply chain somewhere.

Try getting a 1/0-5/16" battery lug right now. (Found some eventually). It's all sitting on a ship outside Port of LA. Look at ship finder.....

Darn Russians hacked the paint pipeline and shut it down.

Sherwin Williams has paint on allocation. I have heard everything from the freeze in Texas to the $600 pay to stay at home. Either way when you shut the train down it takes alot of time to get her rolling again. I have electricians telling me they cant price me a job because they cant get a price on panels what more give me a delivery date. The law of supply and demand is at work here. I am moving some of my projects from steel and wood to concrete because concrete now makes more sense both in price and lead times.

1/0 lug? For the generator?

Booyah! Arrived today, back in the railing business!
