I know I'm jealous. Anybody else?
Thanks. Answer is me again already. Can't wait to get back there. My kids are already talking about the next time.

Looks like a great trip! Nice to be able to give your kids experiences they will remember and cherish forever.

Great pics! Love the Exumas, nothing like it.

No, didn't you see the photos, there having a crummy time??!!

I'm not jealous, I'm happy for them. I rather be there, yea yea, that's it!

Tell us about Your fishing.

Fishing was a little slow, we caught some Tuna the one day we went out, but no Mahi Mahi. The only time there was a bite was either at Sunrise or just before Sunset. It was too hot mid day. Nobody we spoke with were catching anything except really early or just before dark.

Although we did get Lucky the one day while cruising. Around Noon on the day we were running back to Atlantis from Staniel it was a little overcast, "not so hot". We came across a few birds working the surface so I slowed down and followed them to a Huge Group of birds. I headed that way and the birds were working hard. As we closed in I could see the Tuna crashing baits on the surface also. So we quickly dropped the rods back, three Islanders rigged with Ballyhoo, and three Cedar Plugs. The Cedar plugs immediately hooked up on a few Tuna. We circled around following them for about an hour catching the football sized Tuna, but no Dolphin. They never hit the Ballyhoo, but loved the Cedar Plugs of all colors, even hit the bare wood one. Like I said they weren't real big, which actually worked out great for the kids. They had a blast reeling them in and didn't seem to care much about the size. The other thing the size didn't effect was the taste, nothing like "fresh" fish, and it doesn't get much more fresh then grilling some of it less then an hour after you caught it.

We had a great time and can't wait to get back there. Like I mentioned before the kids are already talking about, and planning what they want to do when we go back. I hope they always remember the fun times travelling with family, and close friends. I also hope it drives them to work hard so they can continue do do these things with their kids one day.

For those of you who have never been to the Exumas, do yourselves a favor and try to get there, it's well worth the effort. Even for some of you northern boaters, fly into Staniel and use one of their Whalers to run around or Charter a boat there. I'd been to the Exumas many times before on clients boats, primarily fishing, and I did have a good time. But it wasn't even close to as good of a time I had being there with my wife and kids. Seeing how much fun the kids had made it my Best Bahama Trip ever, even with the fishing being slow.
