If I remember correctly all gas must be oxygenated now under EPA rules.

So there is no way around the ethanol. This was a screw job on the public by the farm lobby, which pushed HARD for this. Its a screw in that not only is the fuel MUCH less stable with ethanol in it, but in addition it has fewer BTUs - so your mileage goes down!

That's right. And in parts of the midwest E85 is being marketed now. People think that they are saving money by using it, but it is not priced much less than reg unleaded. So, with the decrease in mileage, they are actually paying more per mile than if they just bought the gasoline.
