engine stand for a 6v92

Tried a search for info on here and boatdiesel but came up short...

I'm bringing our take-out home to rebuild (mainly to learn more about them ), but all I have is a little stand for my Mini engine.

Any recommended source/info would be appreciated.

Try Northern Tool. They have some heavy duty stands. Harbor Frieght might have one too. HF is cheaper, but cheap is cheap. Rotating that beast will be the chore. You will need an engine lift to do that.

Thanks, but I looked at them and they don't seem to have one robust enough...I found a 3 ton for about 4k(!) that rotates, but I'd like to find something a bit less pricey. May not be out there.

In our truck shop we never used a stand, just a fork truck and a chain hoist.

No skid loader (or the like) here (tried to talk my wife into it many times, but no luck)

I have no need for the fancy rotating type stand, probably just weld something together to hold it off the floor...and I have NO desire to crawl under anything I've welded
