My exhaust temp right after the water injection was slowly getting hotter and hotter. I had already done a complete heat exchanger cleaning( removed and boiled out at a radiator shop) so I sent the intercoolers out to be cleaned, no change in temp. So a mechanic friend told me to remove the fitting where the intake water goes into the water pump and has the zinc in it. It was so clogged it look like a fully calcified toilet hose. Cleaned it and am now running super cool. I would have never thought to clean tha fitting. Did the other engine and that one was fine.
