I don't understand it. Mine got removed and I didn't write anything in poor taste or against the rules. I just clarified Sadey's post that BoatsB has to have his posts approved before posting so that those who don't know could understand why he doesn't respond or responds way too late in a thread that is in his field of expertise.

I realize that Scott's style might be interpreted as being a tad abrasive, but we all have our faults. Let those among us without sin cast the first stone.

He also brings tremendous value and experience to the table, and is willing to share that and help people out. He's helped me offline on several occasions. Perhaps it's time to bury the hatchet and move on.

I got "lectured" for posting a link for the Graco bronze strainer on Amazon because Sam's is in competition with them and providing this site. However I am a disabled vet on a fixed income and I have to price-check across multiple sites, and if I save $100-200 by going with Amazon or Defender or the local family-owned supply house, that's apparently something I have to keep to myself.

Seems to me the members are better at moderating than the moderator.

It is indeed a tad tacky not to support the business who provides this particular resource free of charge. If you go elsewhere, it should be common courtesy to keep that to yourself.

It’s also a tad tacky to limit longtime members who offer free professional advice to the members of this forum.

Boatsob has proven to be an invaluable asset to me on numerous occasions, including this morning when he delivered to me and another HOF’er some packing for a leaky rudder and charged only for the material itself.

I REALLY expected some donuts, but even Scott’s service isn’t what it used to be.
