What a great day. Took the kids and grandkids for a cruise on the St Johns River. Boat ran great with no problems and weather cooperated.

I've searched and searched but cannot locate an explanation on how to get a photo oriented correctly. I went back and rotated clockwise and after re-uploading, it went a 180 degrees. Never had this problem before.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks

No idea, but I have the same issue with just two of several hundred on my electronic picture frame. I cannot find a way to orient them so they display correctly. Hope you get an answer.

Dumb question, but you did save on you machine after reorienting, right?

I saved your image on my Mac, opened, rotated, saved, and uploaded.

Thanks Dan. At least I thought I saved, but in a senior moment I probably forgot. The stress of a week with visiting grandkids.

I hear ya, but that does *not* look stressful--I am jealous! :)

Art, I don't know if you have had a chance to cruise the ST Johns below Lake George but the run from
Astor to Sanford Florida is one of the prettiest trips you can take. The river narrows with little development
and lots of wildlife. It is quite navigable as it was originally dredged years ago for coal barges to the power plants.
The barges are long gone but when the bends in the river were straightened for their use it left many oxbows
which make beautiful anchorages. Travel during the week and you have the river mostly to yourself.
Bill Root runs that water and can attest to its charm.

I plan to do that this year. We're docked at the Marina at Ortega Landing and I visited with Bill Root when he had his boat at Lambs for some work. Bill Pike from Power & Motoryacht magazine was docked at our marina for a while and he did a St Johns trip and wrote a great article

I think you may be mistaken, or a little confused on where you were boating when that picture was taken. From the looks of the water I was thinking the Bahamas until I saw the bridge. Now I'm thinking Marathon in the Forida Keys.

Wish I was there cruising. That is the Hart Bridge in Jacksonville. We frequently run from the marina through downtown and out to the Dames Point at the shipping terminals.

Never spent much time in Jacksonville but have been through St. Augustine more time than I can count. I really enjoy it there. I prefer the City Marina because you can walk off the docks and be downtown, but Camanchee Cove is noce as well. That's where we stayed last time we were there, nice and protected, just got to come into the their channel a little hot in a big boat if the tide is ripping.
