Cruise assistance/meet up

Starting new thread regarding help while on a cruise.

Why not post your cruise plans on this site and get a list of owners that will be in the area, try to meet up with them if not for help with the boat of with lifting heavy objects like beer, one arm curls.

"Lazy Days" will hopefully leave New Rochelle, NY in early May and head for a first time Chesapeake Bay trip during May and June. (My prior attempt to get there in late August/Sept was thwarted by three consecutive storms including Hurricane Isabel which came right up the Bay.)

Then back to LI Sound and Nantucket for all August. I usually anchor in the First Point area, eastern side of the harbor. I tried a few years ago to explore the seal colony off West Nantucket, South of Tuckernuck Island I think, but shoals and fog thwarted that effort. Will try that again this year also. Just me and my Yorkie most of the time, so feel free to stop by if you see us. If you stay for long periods and run your genny a lot, be SURE to check your strainer for sea grass blockage weekly;it's very common.
