The Oxiclean products are not all the same. I have never seen one with sodium hypochlorite, but have see different peroxides. Some simply have hydrogen peroxide.

Are you the real Hiesenberg?

No, just a PhD chemist with some 45 years experience working on plastics, monomers, thermosets, various rubbers, paints, venture analysis and plastics forensic analysis. Oh, and on the chemistry of potable water to identify why pipes and various plumbing components fail. I guess I could use some broadening experiences. Never ask for a chemical opinion or you might get another.

Seriously, I'm always happy to offer a suggestion if I have experience or knowledge in the area.

Yeah Bob is the real deal !!! I am like the red neck that says " watch this" . Get your camera out something crazy is about to happen. I am of the opinion if a little is good, a lot is great. I have been to the emergency room a few times too. People like me shouldn't be able to own a hatteras. Also it's better than to be lucky than good. Now what am I going to do with all this bathroom Cleaner....
