Copper hot water line is clogged up???

Howdy all. My galley sinks hot water pressure has been decreasing for the last month or so. Today I look under the sink, all looks well, no crushed copper pipes or anything. Cold water pressure is fine. I have two sets of hot and cold. One runs up the starboard side of vessel and one runs up the port. The port side works fine in the head and shower. I checked the forward head on the starboards side sink, cold is fine but NO hot water comes out at all! The starboard side head is where the hot and cold terminate.

Anyone else had a problem of copper water lines clogging up????? Suggestions?

Since nobody has...Guess I'll take a stab at this...

When was the last time you drained your water heater ?

Good chance you have scale & sediment buildup in the bottom of that tank that has been gradually going out the hot water piping...It could lodge at any flare fitting or even clog up the sink/shower valves...

Possible it has built up gradually slowing flow until it finally clogged fitting/s or valves...

Do the marine water heaters have plastic dip tubes like the household units? I know mine started shedding plastic bits and thoroughly clogged my shower heads at home.

I would check the faucet first, odds are the clog is there and not in the larger lines

Can't answer that...Boats have had many water heaters over the years...Some elaborations on household types & some not..What has made them "Marine" over the years has changed somewhat...

Scale in the OP's system could sure cause his issue...

No...Copper tubing or "Pipes" don't normally "Clog" up...They can clog but...The "clog" came from somewhere...
