This post is a bit late but it deserves to be posted anyway.
I called Sams last week and asked for Steve. The lady who answered the phone politely said that Steve started to take Wednesdays off. “Great” I said, is Mike Price available? She said “Mike retired at the beginning of the year”.
I was happy for Mike but sad at the same time. Mike is a true professional and always went above and beyond like everyone else at the organization to help.
I only met Mike in person once at a Hatteras Classic Club rendezvous in New Bern. But he was as much of a true guy in person as on the phone.
Enjoy retirement Mike! You will be missed by the Hatteras crowd!!
