You're right about never knowing where the middle will be. I know Mario said he'd be there, how about Pascal?

I asked him earlier on another thread if he was planning to attend, but he never did say. Anybody else planning to make the trip?

Pascal and Naomi are heading out about the same time we are.

I dunno -- I've got a brand new paint job to consider (!), but then again, a crew mutiny would still leave the boat in the thick of the mayhem and me duct-taped to my fighting chair, so what real difference does it make?!

Don't worry about your paint Paul. I have a case of scuffy pads, an orbital sander with plenty of 60 grit paper, and an old bottle of Rain Dance! I'll have that thing shined up real good.............

As for the mutiny...."Resistance is Futile"! :D :D :D

Cool. It will be good to see everybody again. I wonder if he remembers telling me he'd never let me ride on his Hober again. :D

That sander and 60 grit will come in handy when he's duct taped to the chair. I wonder how Darlene feels about bald headed guys. That Rain Dance should give his scalp a real nice glow afterward.

Man, I sure do hope I can find my waterproof digital camera between now and Thursday morning. I wonder if Sony makes some sort of waterproof/resistant case for the Handycam I bought a while back. That's the third thing I've wondered about in this post. It'll be a wonder if we all make it out of this one alive. :D

All you need is a zip lock freezer bag and some duct tape for that camera. It'll be fine!

And, yes, this is setting up to be one of those events where we might need until FLIBS to heal!!!

It's heartening to see that, like the almighty cockroach, you haven't evolved in 10,000 years...that was your same cleaning repertoire BEFORE the paint job! If I see a ScotchBrite in your hand anywhere near my hull again it's GAME ON, no matter what I've promised Teala!

Teala is smart enough to know, that your promises, no matter how sincere in the beginning, usually never come to fruition! :D

Wonder if this will work:

Sundays dinner.

Man, I've looked all over the place, but I can't find another Bubba Keg. My special edition, CDR tested, Hatteras Bubba Keg is on the 58 and is over two hours away. What am I gonna do now?

Funny...I was in Target the other day, over by where the coolers were, and I heard a little girl utter the words “Bubba Keg” to her mother - she was looking for one and it wasn’t there. I immediately thought of the Bird with that keg around his neck and just snickered to myself. Funny, you mention it here, now.

That 128 oz BK is the handiest thing I've run across lately. Fill it with ice and your favorite beverage, and you're good to go. Best of all, it floats. Better than that, the more you drink, the higher it floats. By the time it's empty, it makes one helluva PFD.

I'll get one for you. We can keep it on Pauls boat, for when you visit!

As I was searching, I think you should get this for the FLIBS Drunkfest:

Pick me up one of the 128 oz versions and I'll pay you back... someday.
You better do it, Eric -- I told the feathered one "no Bubba Keg, no entry." We're bringing him for comic relief, remember.

I'll get him one, and while I was there, I spied some very nice blue and white tumblers which would look good on a certain 55C!

Hey Eric, if it's not too much trouble, drop by Sam's and pick up a Hatteras decal for my new Bubba Keg. May as well pick up a family size bottle of Goose and some Ruby Red while you're at it.

Oh yeah, some 3" thick filets and a six pack of Charmin would be nice too... and sun screen, about a SPF 1,000... you know, just in case the beads don't get the job done.

How about you, JelloBoy, you need anything?

OK, I'll get right on it! (FCB Salute)

I thought we were bringing him to drive the boat home, after he poltergeists one of your newly rebuilt engines, and if we are lucky, have one engine to get home with!

See if Sam's has any Hatteras tumblers when you pick up my decal. I bought a couple of sets from them a while back, and they work/look great. I'll even go in half with you as a gift to Paul for putting up with... you.
