3 of us so far are in for a run up to Sunset Cafe, Banana River and 520 bridge.
I called Sunset 321 783 8485 and they can take us. cant reserve dock space but no problem for the group of 34 to 41 footers thus far.

So Scott and Bob, looks like it is a go. Any Ideas what time?

May I suggest we do the lunch thing. If I pull out about 1000 I can be at Sunset by 1100 or so (depending on lock times).

lunch is what i had in mind. Not sure when scott will be there, he is going to drive up from miami saturday morning.

Scott was thinking we may need to reserve tables so we can all sit together, not sure how that will work there. When I called there they said they expect to get bussy at around 1 pm. I plan to leave my house in orlando around 830 to 9am, take about an hour to get there so we may pull out of Harbour Town at around 1030 to 11am or so.

See if any other hatteras owners on your dock want to come along.

Hi Guys!

I would love to join up but Saturday we will probably be south of Palm Beach :(. I really wish to be there with you all but I got to get the boat home by Sunday. I got to go to work Monday up north helping Santa and UPS deliver packages. Thanks for the invitation!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

no we are in Merritt island. on the way for you but we wont be there that soon. Would be nice to meet you. We live in orlando. takes about an hour to drive over. we will be there at around 9am. to get to Harbour Town, take a left at the 528 bridge, barge canal. Barge canal connects indian river with the ocean through pt canaveral. we are after the sea ray factory. Know you are on a schedule but if you can squeez it in it would be cool. I can also try to leave a little earlier if you want to try it. Wife goes to work tomorrow so my 15 15 yr old and I will be over there.

Dang boys, I'm proud to see you all making plans for a get together. I wish I was going to be in FL during that time as I would sure try to hitch a ride with one of you. BTW, thanks to Steve and Wild Bill for their contributions while I was in time out. I appreciate it.

When I get Freebird's leak stopped and her engine fixed, I'll invite ya'll onboard for a second maiden voyage, Southern style!

Ya'll have fun and make me proud! Send pictures and take no ugly prisoners!

scott, bill lets pull out around 11am or so. Bill if you want, come over to harbour town. there is an empty slip behind ours. I recruited another boat to go, not a hattera but very cool people. 42' Regal with cummins 330b's v drives. very nice boat.

How 'bout channel 88 for comms? Sorry you can't make it Randy, you would certainly be welcome aboard the Wild Bill.

copy chanel 88, now i have to remember that tomorrow.

I'll take you up on that offer before too long. I know you and Steve won't mind a little side trip as to your reference to using ch 88 for keeping touch.

When we came in on the GuzCruzer last week, some guys in a CC were anchored in a very narrow "ditch" we needed to get back into the marina. The capt pointed to the VHF, and then he hailed us to the effect he would move as he knew we needed every inch of that ditch. Carl thanked him, then some "proper" fellow advised us to move our conversation to another channel. The entire conversation had taken about 15 seconds. The CC capt took the words out of my mouth in his response to that guy. Then he added a few additional comments that had me rolling on the floor! Sound familiar?

Ya'll have fun!!!

going to have a crowd on our boat, 3 small chldren and 6 large children.

Well, Wild Bill and I showed with Boats, Scott could not get his running properly so he and family showed by car. Had a great time, very nice to meet Bob and his boat Wild Bill is a real fine example of a 37c.

We plan to do Christmass parade together, thus far Bob, Scott and My self are planning to do the Cocoa Beach Parade on 12/16/06, anyone else in the area should join us.

Glad to hear you guys had a good time. I'll be coming down to my Dad's in Winter Haven for Christmas, but I'm not sure of the date yet.

Keep up the good work. In the immortal words of some country chick song, "let's give 'em somethin' to talk about". Yeah, I know, I'm a country boy, but I like rock and roll!
