Did Hatteras glass in aluminum plates for mounting fighting chairs?

There is not one in my 1982 50C. Hatteras of Lauderdale installed a Aluminum plate under the deck and bolted the chair base through it when installing. I have no idea how they got in there because of the fuel tank. The person must have had some skinny long arms because I can not reach it. Good luck, but I think you will have to put in a reinforcement plate for the chair.
