cleaning heat exchangers?

reading this new tread, I came to the realization that maybe I should check my heat ex. I can see build up on some of the fins and I think its time. can you tell me a way without tearing into them to much how to and whats the proceedure. then I'll have something to do. thanks Rickey deamoraII
