I want to decorate for a holliday parade. using mostly twinkle lights but dont know how many i can get away with. the box does not say how many watts they are only that they are 2.5v. do any of you know how many watts they are?

Depends on the string. There should be a fuse in the plug - pull it and you'll have an absolute maximum.

Because we just got done decorating a boat for the holiday parade, I think you can get a way with a lot more than you should be able to.

I usually do about 5 sets of 100 ea or about 6 sets of curtain lights. you can watch your amp meter when you plug in. I do the parades here, I usually have about 40 amps total. It gives the gen a little workout. I use four to five different circuts. have fun. Dave
