California sales tax changes again

Any CA boaters hear that the sales tax exemption changed back to 90 days out of state from 1 year after the sale? A broker told me today. I was able to find an article on line from a week or so ago that backed it up. Anyone else hear the same? If so, when does/did it go into effect?

Heard the same thing from my broker in San Diego. Didn't ask when it would go into effect...
