Cabin Top Pool Float Cover

We carry several foam pool floats on the boat. Storage is a problem. The deck above the cabin is a popular place to lay out. Laying the floats on the deck and covering them with a vinyl sheet works well and provides a cushion. I used toggle ball bungee cords to hold the cover it place. It worked well today.

I had a bad experience storing a deflated raft on the cabin top.
After a hot rainy month, I discovered the paint bubbled underneath from the heat/ humidity. Gotta love Fla. in the summer.

Thanks for pointing out the problem with leaving things laying across the deck. I plan on placing a grid under the floats. the grid will consist of parallel strips of ripped pvc boards running thwartships with parallel strips of 1/2" teak attached on top perpendicular to the pvc strips. For now I have a piece of trampoline mesh under the floats separating them from the deck.
