A Captain that does work for us stopped in my office today and in conversation mentioned that Broadus had passed away. I searched and found an obituary, so it seems to be true. I know he had done a lot of good work for some of you here. I hadn't seen this mentioned before so I thought I would. Fair Winds and Following Seas - Broadus Rose.

Broadus Rose Sr passed in 2017.
We have done business with his son, Broadus Stone Rose Jr at our home dock and in NC.
This must have just happened if it was Jr.

Yes Broadus passed away at the end of last week. He and I had become good friends over the last 10 years. His step son called me Monday and let me know. I knew he had been in the hospital with Covid and didn’t realize that he had taken a turn for the worse last week. I’m heart broken as we had brainstormed many a crazy idea over the last few years.

You will be missed my friend.

This is so very sad. He was going to stop by after the boat show.
I just had not heard anything and was sure it was an error.
