Bonding wire gauge

I need to order some terminals to remake a few bonding connections on the boat but cannot recall the wire gauge. I think it's either 6 or 8. Anybody know offhand?

Mine are 8.

Years ago when we updated our thru hulls, or surveyor responded to the same question, quality #8 wire.

We used shrink crimps, bronze star lock washers with dielectric grease.
All connects on the high side of the hardware and no wires left in any bilge water.
Our work still looks new.

Overkill it’s not carrying anything other than stray voltage. Hatteras used #10 on most of mine with the struts and rudders bonded with #8

Maybe, but I replaced all my bonding cabling per my boat plans-#8 throughout.

Why? The most important thing is the end connections not the gauge of the wire. DiElectric grease is your friend.
