boat refurb financing?

Has anyone ever heard of banks financing a complete refurb on an older Hatt? I'm desperately pulling at straws to keep my baby (both of them.)
 
Got a friend that might be interested in being a partner? Trade for Real Estate (or other asset) with a predetermined trade-back date in the future? Maybe a pawn shop or hard money lender?
 
Guy I know went to the bank and got a business loan to refurb and start a tour company even though he had no plans on giving tours the bank loaned him the money and he did a complete refit.

The bank will come after him BIG TIME if he misses a payment. That basically equates to misappropriation of funds. They're putting people in jail for that daily right now.
