I'm painting my radar arch and a friend turned me on to this stuff for rolling awlgrip. I put 8 drops in a half quart and the paint lays down perfect with zero bubbles, it's pure magic. Thought I'd pass it along.

Please post back how it comes out. You have my interest!

I wonder how it works with imron?

What kind of roller do they recommend you use with that?

This could be the stuff that doc g was telling me about. Perhaps he will comment.

Imron additive for awlgrip? How about the awlgrip brushing reducer? I've used it with clear awlgrip to do my sail boast hull and all the spars, no bubbles

I'm waiting on a stubborn rain shower then the last coat goes on. I'm using standard awlgrip, brushing converter, brushing reducer, and a foam roller. Ratio of additive is no more than 1oz per gallon. The stuff is amazing.

I'll try that when I paint my topsides if it doesn't reduce the longevity of the applied paint or effect its adhesion properties. I've read that additives such as this can do so.

End result, not if the additive effects the life of the paint but the amount added is small, I used 8 drops per half qt of mixed product. I was told more additive is not better as fish eyes will occur when too much is mixed in.

WOW!! That looks GREAT!!

Went to this company's web site and can find no reference to this product. Where did you get it?

My local awlgrip/imron dealer, A-1 Auto paint Stuart, Fl had it.
