Greetings. I have been trying to figure out all of the connections for my TVs. I have managed to connect to Directv for the salon and the master stateroom. But I have a boat load of questions and equipment. First, how do you remove the salon TV? I want to see what is behind it and ultimately use the HDMI capability. It seems that the Directv is all connected thru the component connections. This results in a picture that reminds me of the Lions vs Packers on Turkey Day in a snowstorm! Very fuzzy. Also, the cabinet that houses all of this gear is top of the stairs to starboard. Not sure how to access the connections toward the rear of the cabinet.I believe I have a digital over the air antenna and there is a Channel A/B switch. I havent been able to get local channels yet. See photos for reference. Any advice as to what I have and how to use it would be appreciated. My knowledge is average but obviously lacking...Thanks in advance.

First problem solved! The frame around the TV panel pops off with plastic latches allowing access to the connections...now the figure out how to get better resolution for the DirecTV feed that appears to be going in via coax cable...

The TV has 2 HDMI inputs. The DVD player terminates in HDMI 1 input via a component/HDMI converter box.(yellow arrow) I believe the DirectV feed is the coax cable directly into the coax input which is why the picture is so degraded.(blue arrow) Do I use a Coax in/HDMI out converter and go into HDMI 2 on the TV?

Will probably rerun an HDMI cable directly from the DirecTV receiver to the TV...

I ran starlink from the arch and went wireless everywhere on the boat. Now any device can stream anything.
