We keep deleting the posts and whatever bot it is keeps reposting using a slightly different name. I think Doug has blocked the IP address but evidently it is able to get around that. I don't know why it bothers with us, I can't imagine what it has to gain.

If the bot can get that signiture posted up a few thousand times, the phrase will eventually become a search engine favorite. Just what We need, more marketing schemes.

I hit the spam button a little while ago, so we'll see what happens. Seems to me as often as this happens, the cure would be requiring approval for membership. One quick check of the IP address is usually all it takes to spot a bot.

What we need to do is when one of these butts post, we all need to not post after that. That way the mods will be able to find ALL the posts by the butt and kill them dead!!! ppat

Exactly. They are more difficult to find when they are buried in a thread. Plus I was away for a few days and not near a computer, so fewer eyes on the prize...
