I think I found my boat! Anyone know anything about it? Looks like the previous owner did a few minor alterations but i think it looks cool. I am SO excited:

I can see you are in love with this boat as much as I am since you started the other thread. Maybe we can go in together on her as a joint venture. I think all she really lacks is a disco ball in the salon and we should be ready to go! I think this boat was also on that new TV show, "Pimp my Hatt"

Hey Woodsong, while I agree that the boat is a discrace to the Hatteras name, but EASY on the disco ball reference please! I actually own a 16" motorized disco ball that I bring out on special occasions. Believe it or not, there are STILL appropriate times for a disco ball to make an appearance. I hang it from the half tower on the flybridge when we are in party mode! Talk about a BLAST! It cracks people up. They LOVE it!

Hey, it is easier to list times when a disco ball is NOT appropriate than when it is since they always are apropriate.

Ed just sent me a PM. He told me is in fact interested in this boat. I think he and I are going to move on this one before she gets away!

Paul45C: Don't knock it 'til you've tried it! I sure don't hang the disco ball up there while cruising, or for looks at all. It merely assists in getting the ladies relaxed and into party mode so they can loose their inhibitions. The dance parties aboard Sweet Melissa are legendary around these parts. We tend to throw down pretty hard here in Cajun Country!

You know, I've seen more disco balls on boats than I care to reflect on. Misty doens't have one, yet, but they seem to be standard equipment on the houseboats in my marina.

There is a place (boat) and time (after many cocktails) in which they do seem appropriate, isn't there?
