  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
56' MOTOR YACHT (1981 - 1984)
I am currently activated and deployed and have put my 56 "widebody" FDMY up on the hard for an bit of an extended refit and laundry list of things to maker her "pretty" while I am OCONUS doing the soldier 'thing'. I have started the efforts to get the old girl a complete paint job!

I was hoping to find someone who could, presuming it was not to onerous, check on Fun@Sea.Calm every now and then and make sure she is still bolted down where I left her.

I am not looking for someone to act as an owner's agent, rather just a "yep - still there" sort of thing.

If such a request would not be too bothersome, please reach out to me out of band and I will give you the particulars of where the boat is in dry dock.

Regards,
Timothy

Hi Tim, Glad to hear from you. I'm still at Deep point Marina and still remember that tour of that great Boat our yours. I'm currently working 6 days/ wk, 12 hrs/day. I was thinking I might could run up there as well and check her out. I think I still have your calling card. I know where the yard is.

Thanks Pete!

I have to say how much we enjoyed the hospitality when we visited SouthPort area. In fact 'household 6' has suggested keeping Fun@Sea.Calm in the NC area when I get back from my current endeavors just to have someplace different to use as a get away from our nation's capital and the joy's of the traffic around there.

I enjoyed that marina not only for the quality of the facility but for the great run into town. Great to start the day with a little PT and a bit of on the road again.

We'll have to see how the future choice of boat location works out. Too far ahead right now for me to focus on.

LOL - And I envy you your hours. I wish I only had work days as short as that to contend with!

Hooah!

Tim,

I live about 5 miles from the yard. Let me know how I can help you.
