Any info on old Cetrek Propilot 700

In my efforts to restore rather than replace, I am looking for any information on the Cetrek Propilot 700 auto pilot system. I found a burn spot on the mother board of the 930-683 power interface. I was lucky enough to stumble on one a used replacement. What I would love to find is an installation ad operator's manual, but have not found one specific to my Propilot 700 model.

Also I am looking for either a second control head or someone who can repair the sun faded screen of the unit I have.

IMHO Those were not particularly good or reliable even when they were new. I'd be cautious about getting in too deep on that old unit.

I am pretty sure that Cetrek merged with Benmar at one point and Benmar is still around and have a repair place in Southern California. Not sure if they have any other locations. John

Thanks for responding. I have been scouring ebay, craigs list, and market place for a few weeks. I cannot find any 700 Manuals or head units. I'll keep at it. I am just hoping to find a contact who might have some insight to them.

Interesting, I have heard the opposite. Anyway, the reason I am looking for the manuals is so I don't get in too deep!

It's at best a course keeper. Not a reliable and integrated autopilot. This is not a place to cut corners. If you need a real one PM me. I just happen to have a system or two in stock.
