huh? President Obama is holding onto a 67 percent approval rating in the latest Research 2000 nationwide survey. CNN's "poll of polls", which averaged seven national surveys, last week gave Obama a 61 percent approval rating, described as "a pretty robust level of support" by CNN polling director Keating Holland.

At the same point in their administrations, George W. Bush had a 58 percent approval rating, Bill Clinton was at 53 percent, George H.W. Bush at 56 percent, and Ronald Reagan at 60 percent.

Dave this is not aimed at you. It goes way back to other issues here on the forum. They're just having some fun and not at your expense. The members of this forum are great people. They'll go out of their way to help you out and extend courtesies to you just for being a fellow Hatt owner. I am one of the first members to join this forum back when it was just a bulletin board on SAMS site. It amazes me how much info is here on just about any topic. I stay light on the politics because I don't care to argue over the internet. Some of the views expressed on this site are far from mine but that would never stop me from inviting anyone aboard my boat. We all come from different pats of the country, different backgrounds, different age groups etc. We all share the love of boating and like to help each other out anyway we can.

Let this thing die. All will forget it and everyone will jump in when you have a problem you need help with.

Sounds like a good plan. I agree, it is probably best if I simply stay out of anything political here. I really don't want to fight.

It wouldn't be the first time that someone here had more than one screenname.

You just might be surprised if you knew how many members have more than one username on here. I sort of inherited ole' Sparky, but there was nothing sinister involved in it. Truth is, it was very interesting (and revealing) to see who tried to help ole' Spark in his yacht search. Not only who tried, but how they tried was most interesting. Let's just say there are some genuinely good people on here. Sorry I couldn't talk my son into ponying up for the Burger there Eric.
