Does anyone out there have an issue with their alternators not kicking out voltage at low RPMs I don't want to have to run a 2000 RPM just to get my alternators to kick out voltage. My alternators are not oems and also they have internal regulators. But they don't do anything at low RPM say a thousand RPMs or even 15.

All the time, or just when you start? Some alternators need to reach a higher RPM to start to excite, but once they're producing they will continue to do it at a lower RPM.

Are they belt or gear driven?

smaller alternator pulley. alternators can easily run at 10,000 rpm or more. speeding it up usually isn't any problem
