Allison Trans M20 pump leaking

Seeing if anyone has any feedback or experience with these pumps. I have a slow leak coming from the transmission pump on our STBD 6V92. I am having trouble finding info on these pumps. The little info I have located has mentioned there’s rebuild kits for them. The gaskets and O-rings dry up and cause small leaks. Has anyone done such a rebuild? Aside from the leak, the transmission is working as it should and trans pressure has been unaffected. Any help would be great appreciated! Thanks.

Call Acadian Marine Transmission at 337-837-3636. They have the rebuild kits or you c an ship the pump to them and they will rebuild it at a very reasonable cost, at least it was in 2017.

I originally bought the rebuild kits and tryed to do it myself. I consider myself to be pretty handy but could not get them to work properly so I sent them to Acadian and they rebuilt them for me and I have had no problems since. I also was able to get a tach sender from them.

In 2017 they cost $170.00 each to rebuild not including kits. Kits were $110.50 each.

Well…… Good old inflation strikes again. I called Arcadian Transmissions this week and to rebuild my leaking Hydreco trans pump will be $475 w/ parts & labor.
