I noticed at OpSail this past weekend that when my engines aren't running, there is no air pressure volume in my tank...and hence, the horns don't work. Honestly, I don't know much about these things, but I'm assuming that they should hold air. When the engines are running, there's plenty of pressure to sound the horns for a good 30-45 seconds.

So, does my rank have a slow leak or is it working properly?

Thanks.

When was the last time you drained the condensate water out of the Air tank? If never it could be rotted out like mine did. There is a slight leak somewhere.

Well, I can honestly say "never" to that question! It's been one of those out of sight, out of mind items that I take for granted. Interesting that you ask, because I have a compressor at home that I occassionally drain, just overlooked the one on Kismet. I'll take a look this weekend and see what kind of shape it's in.
Thanks.
