how does one go about adding pictures to a post ?
thanks

under the post/reply section, in the additional options section... manage attachements... click on that and select a file on your computer... it's all explained in that pop up

pictures are in bmp format and are stated as too large for what is allowed ... how do I shrink (hopefully this is not as difficult as losing weight)

BMP is the worst format for pictures... they should be JPG

get www.irfanview.com it's free, small and easy to use. Convert your BMP to JPG, 800pix wide with 30% compression...

Steve like Pascal said Irfanview works great and free.

So are you North this weekend a few of us will be in the back of Sag.
Should be (3) 34C's and Nicks 37 on Sunday!!!
Cocktail hr usally is around 5 pm ;)

Or instead of using the photo attachment part of this site, just upload your photos to a site like photobucket. Then click on the share link at that site and insert that line in your post here. That way you don't have to mess with resizing and you don't have a limit to the number of photos that you can post.

flying up tonite ... in Sag through tuesday afternoon .... I'll see ya

Iam pretty ignorant with this stuff! But like Sky says use photobucket and hit upload, then select a pic from your documents and upload.
Then left click on the bottom header under the picture where it says for posting on forums. Then start a thread on Sams, right click your mouse then left click on paste. It works for me.

Test using photobucket

I'll be darned, it worked. I've not used p=bucket on this site before. It IS easier than fussing with image size limits.

ROFLMAO, Yeah, you met the little woman at the HOF get-together- Westbrook. That's her telling me she wants a 45'+ Hatt with cockpit, washer/dryer, diesel, in Fighting Lady Yellow.
