I have been a member here since 2006. I joined shortly before we purchased our 53C. The amount of information and combined experience has been invaluable to me. This would have been our 11 season with the Hatt but sadly/happily we just sold her. We have always boated and never had the chance to land travel so we decided to sell the boat and purchase a motor home to see the other side!

Good luck with the land yacht....... be careful, RV land is a jungle. LOTS of crappy stuff, a few gems here and there.

Best of luck with the new venture. One of my closest friends did the same a couple of years ago and is enjoying it. He says he always has projects to work on similar to the boat but he does like being able to state fuel economy as MPG instead of GPM.

Ha! Provost got scratched off list real early! Went with a new Newmar, has the interior my wife wanted ( very very important) Allison trans 425 Cummings 10kw Onan. Difficult time to sell the boat as the season is just getting started up here but couldn't walk away from a very good offer.
I know I only had about 600 posts in 10 yrs mainly because I was the one asking all the questions! Learned a lot on this forum and I will continue to be a member cause I still love the classic Hatts! Besides the new MH has a Onan genny that should qualify
