65C Wheels? Jack Sardina

Jack I hope you see this message or if anyone knows how to reach him will you please pass this information along. I have a question about what wheels and speeds you’re getting on your 65 with 12v92’s. I have a customer looking to buy one and the performance on seatrial seemed sluggish. Only turned 2100 max rpm, at 1900rpm and about 18.5-19.5 knots it felt good but below that rpm at about 1800 it was beginning to squat and lose speed. We were in about 15ft of water on the inside just north of Palm Beach inlet running. The boat came new with Radice 3 Blade 34x36 cupped but now has weird looking Bobby Soles 34x34 wheels with big twisted blades. WOT 2100 and 20knots. I looked at it last April. My only concern was the high hours on the mains and what the performance would be with the 12v92s. The rest of the boat was very nice. There is a youtube series on a 65 that the owner ran from Ft. Peirce to Seabrook Texas. He had a steady 18.5 knot cruise with the same power.

Jack disappeared but I remember him getting mid 20’s out of the boat. I was skeptical but Jack was a no BS guy. Remember the boat carry’s a lot of fuel. More than you need for normal missions. If everything is slap full don’t expect to get max performance out of it.
