Nice looking boat! although could use a few updates in the decorating department.. but overall looks clean. Are those 71s, for certain? they look like 92 Series, although I am not expert enough to know. That may be a real deal at 125K ask.

I seem to remember this boat "Roman Holiday" being discussed here before. If you read the specs they havent been updated since '07. I would asume its been for sale for at least that long.

I was aboard her 3 or 4 years ago at the Palm Beach boat show. Not exactly a movie star as I recall. There was a decent offer at the time that the owner turned down. This is a classic case of "holding out for less"

Also known as "bidding against yourself".... all too common in this declining economy....

A friend tried to buy it and they would not get close to $175k. The broker emailed him too. He already bought something else.

I was headed up to see this yacht in Georgia I believe when the broker told me that at least one of the engines needed to be overhauled and the bottom had some delamination issues. I decided to pass on the boat.

I drove by about a month ago and stopped to take some pics of the hull and exterior. PM me with your e-mail if you want them. The hull problem did not look too bad at all. Looks to me like it was gouged when it struck something.

She has been for sale for a long time. I seem remember her when I was shopping for Sanctuary. I never went to see her though, most likely because she was probably priced out of my budget; otherwise, I most definately would have gone to see her, given how very few of these galley up modesl there are.

They look like 71s to me. Look at all that room around the engine. 92s in those engine rooms are much more cramped. And in 1977, they were putting 71s in the 58MY. The 92s came along later and they don't really fit in there. The inside wall of the ER had to be cut away (losing some thickness) to get the 92s to fit. The boat was designed for 71s and 1977 was the first year they made the 58MY.
