Remember seeing that boat a bunch around PB or Jupiter or Stuart, really really nice, pretty sure it had also been repowered, maybe CATs. Just hate to see these old girls that have been redone get destroyed because I know exactly what goes into the process.

A lot of work into them is right. I like that style of bow rail, any name for that rybo-esque front rail with the cripple height rail following? I have to put a rail back on my bow but I don't want to just reuse the original one, need more flavor. Boat looks really sleek without the rail but no one feels safe out there without one.

Speaking of old classics that have been VERY nicely refurbished, a member who shall remain nameless gave me the tour of his three years ago.

He said he hadn’t shared it with the group as he suspected there would be those who would point out what he should have done differently.

I won’t mention the model beyond it being a convertible, but it is the best example of that model I have ever seen.

Wrong side down...Looks like the SUB. z27.webp

randy, you talking about my friend? if so , yes he did a fantastic job on that old girl.

Our friend DF. Met with him for dinner three years ago and he took me to see the boat.

UGE difference as I had been on it before. Definitely the nicest example of the breed that I’ve seen.
