53 motor yacht aft deck screens

We have 5 screens on our 53 aft deck The middle 3 are usually up in Florida
Has anyone replaced the middle 3 with plain canvas
The clear screens do not last long in the heat

I like the open feeling of the screen or the eyes in glass. It would darken the back area and block out most of the great view that I have if I put solid panels across it. That’s just my opinion. Good luck.
