50Amp 125/250 power cords

I finally replaced the power cords on Buffalo Gal. The old ones were getting too stiff for the Admiral to handle. They work fine, not burned or anything, but they are faded and stiff. One even has brand new Marinco ends. I wouldn't want to travel with them, but for something to keep on the dock or as spares they would b e fine. I'm thinking $250 for the one with the new ends, $150 for the other. I'm in Jacksonville, Florida now, leaving Monday for West Palm then over to the Bahamas. If someone doesn't buy them by Friday I'm going to take them over to Sailor's Exchange in St. Augustine. If interested, please call me on my cell 763-229-4519.

You might want to keep them as extensions. I've had several times in the Bahamas where either the plug was bad in the slip I was in or 50' just wouldn't reach. I always carry 2 spare cords just in case. I also had my cord stolen once while we were out fishing. Take extra hoses also hoses grow feet over there.

Fair price. You might want to add some photos. I bought a couple of them on Craigslist. You don't have any luck here try them. I do agree with the last post, it's always better to have 100 feet for those far away plugs.

I have found them to be quite good. They have an LED on the plug, all sealed with molded ends. Only complaint was when brand new they were rolled so tightly that it took a while to get them "trained".

Good question. I emailed them asking about it. If it is tinned wire, they look like a good deal. Plus, made here as far as I can determine.

Bill, are the used ones 2 pole 3 conductor or 3 pole 4 conductor? I assume the latter since they are 250V capable as well.Marcus

X2 on the High tide shore cord. When I bought a new one for Soo Easy I was doing some internet research and found a blog stating that Marinco's cords were no longer tinned wire. Also a big fan of the molded end vs. a clamp on coupling. Had mine for a year+ laying on an often rain soaked dock and have been very happy!

Sorry for the delay. We're in Bahamas now. Internet has been spotty and unreliable. Yes the cords are 3 pole 4 conductor.
