46C Question

I have a 1989 45C with the 535hp Detroits and it is a great boat. Great layout and great ride. Engine room has limited outboard access. No boat is perfect and I would highly recommend this model. I get 20kt cruise,1950rpm,38 /40gals per hr. I have a friend with older 46c and he loves it although a bit on the slow side with the 871. You won't go wrong with either one...Good luck

I will pass it on. Is it a "sedan", or convertable? Covertables have a "BS on their data plate. Gas or Diesel, price etc.?? Thanks

It is the Sedan model. T/454's - about 1500 original hrs. Compression is great and then run very well. Always been in fresh water. Repainted bridge w/imron about five years ago to update look. ( no stripes) painted all window frames w/ imron to match boat. New interior last year. Updated all electronics in last four years. All new enclosure last two years. We make up to Grosse Point Yacht Club a couple times a year. You may have seen the boat up there. It is called "Kind of Blue". New Head Hunter head, new hot water heater, new Racor Fuel system. etc. Cruise @16.5 kts at 3250 RPM. E-mail me at southbass@aol.com for pictures.

I'm a huge Miles fan. I named the boat after the finest Jazz album ever made!
Truth be told, that album was really put on the map because of Bill Evans! Thanks for noticing the name, most people think i'm some kind Michigan fan!! GO Bucks!!!!
