46 Hatt C performance?

I am curious about series 1 46C performance with 871s at 435hp per side. Are they 2100 or 2300 rpm motors? What is typical cruise and max speed folks have seen, as well as fuel burm info?

i had a 77 46c with the same engines, the engines are 2350 rpm max, cruise at 2150. i ran mine at 2000rpms and cruised at 18knots, at 2150 she would run 20 knots, wide open she would run 22knots. at 2000 she burned 40gph, i cant comment on the other rpm ranges, ididn't run it there long enough to get a good measure. bigbill

The reason I ask is that a broker/owner told me today that his boat (1976) is rated at 2100 rpm max. Didn't sound right. he did say that the boats bottom is a mess, so it may be overloaded.
