I have a bad motor and it needs replaced. Anyone have a spare or any suggestions on where to have it rebuilt or find a replacement. I have exhausted my normal sources and have not had any luck. Thanks in advance.

Not knowing what you have already pursued...

Have you tried Depco in Clearwater, they are not a Sealand dealer to my knowledge but either can redo the motor or likely point you in the right direction.

Or Sealand themselves? Environmental Marine in Ft. Lauderdale? If it is just a motor, a local electric motor shop (again, Depco may have a good reference for that).

try a good local starter/alternator shop, they shuold be able to repair any electric motor

Ditto what Pascal said; normally a motor shop can rewire any motor - voltage is not an issue. They can even change a motor's voltage most of the time though it requires rewinding the whole thing and may not be cost effective.

When I was doing my VF conversion, I was told that they no longer make the 32v pump. The manufacturer told us that the 24v pump would be fine in the 32v application.

The local alternator shop said they woudl not rewind/repair it. the next closest place is over an hour away, so I need to ship it no matter where it goes. I will call Depco in the morning to see if they can repair it. I have called around to the Seland dealers and most of them have had no suggestions as of yet. I may also call SeaLand to verify the 24v pump in a 32 system.

Pat Bustle: If you still need a Vacuflush pump, I have a Model T-32 pump together with and connected to its discharge unit. If you still have interest please PM me. Both are in excellent condition. SidneyF

Ditto Angela's response. Sealand told us the same thing about using the 24V pumps in our 32V system. We've had it online about 9 months with no problems.

Yeah, it's not like you're running the thing constantly....I mean...how long and how often does it actually run? Sealand told us that yes we may have to replace it a tad sooner than a 32v pump, but that time period would be insignificant. Works for me!

Good News, I found a local company that repaired my pump for $100. They are also rebuilding/rewinding my extra and completly redoing it. This will give me a spare. If anyone needs their information, let me know.
