32 vdc chargers

While trolling around for something else, I discovered that there is a company called Lewco which makes marine chargers in 32 vdc. (also 12, 24 and 36, I think) I don't know these guys and haven't seen their products, but from time to time we've had questions about 32vdc chargers for older larger Hatteras yachts, and this might be a source worth looking at. Not cheap, but made here and look sturdy in the literature.

I found them on the website for Ultra anchors, www.ultraanchors.us, but they may be sold through other outlets as well.

FWIW, have a Lewco FS 1220 ACD 3 bank 12v unit, its 40+ years old and charging well.... they make 12, 24 & 32V units, the company has been around for about 50+ years. http://www.lewcoelectriccompany.com/

Also, Charles Industries still makes 32v - 9000 SP BATTERY CHARGERS, in 30 & 40 amp units, up to 3 battery banks. http://www.charlesindustries.com/main/marine.html
Have a 1972 vintage Charles 40 amp, 3 bank in the 53' Hatt MY, still working fine, have 2 banks of 8 batteries 11+ years old, all are in good condition.
