30-Amp Fuseholder Replacement

I have a 30 yr. old 43' Convertible in need of fuseholder replacement on the 30-amp side ( 4 of them - two for ships power & two for A/C ). Is there special anything I should know before I start this project because it means removing the entire front cover plate on the ship's 30-amp bulkhead to get at the bolts holding the fuseholders in place. I thought it was going to be simply removing the screws holding the cockpit access hatch and there they'd be.........wrong!! I was greated by a thick aluminum box with no access to the fuseholders located inside. So, before I go too far I figured I'd find out if there are any other surprises waiting for me.

While yer in there, cut a door in the aluminum box and hinge and latch it... just for future reference! ws
