I don't know about demand for west coast charters, but I may very well find out. A CDR charter would have to be attractive.

There was a 85' motoryacht that traveled from Palm Beach to Cape Coral via the Okeechobee Waterway to pick up some folks and take them to South Seas Plantation on Captiva Island. Not sure if it was a charter or not. There may be some demand if it was a charter. It had some toys: 2 jet ski's and a ski boat.

Dang, I would have never thought a boat that big could venture across the big O. Must have kicked up one heck of a muddy wake even if they dumped fuel and pulled the customers on water skis. Kinda like the tail my Garmin leaves so I can find my way back.

I went to South Seas Plantation many years ago and paid record high prices for fuel among other things. Nice place, but I understand it got clobbered pretty good during recent storms.

Me and GuzBoy have been talking about hooking up around that area pretty soon and hitting Cabbage Key for a cheeseburger in paradise. We are both running a little low on cash these days, so they better not seat us too close to the wall.

Charlie Christ? Yeah, the Tortugas are sort of a no man's land, especially these days. But I assume the fort is still a good point of interest for sight seeing. Hell, they'd be paying for the fuel, so they could tell me where to go! Most people never have a problem with that.

Stop it. The lower it goes, the more I actually start to think it's a deal I can't pass up. I really don't need two boats. On second thought, I do need two. I just can't pay for two.

But, seriously, I was just on one of the websites that has the bank repo real estate listed today. A search in my zip code showed 26 properties and that is just one little rural area. I feel your pain. It's pretty hard to make sales in a market like this. I can't believe how many RE auctions there are right now. They don't seem to care how much they get for some of these properties, just get rid of them.

Dang, a 67 at that price shows just how soft the market is. I am not sure it can go any lower as these boats are a heck of a deal right now. Hpoe you have a quick sale....

Hoping we have hit bottom. (No pun intended) I have just raised the price on my 43 to $110,000. Guess that means we are going to keep her. It seems that regardless of where the price is the buyers will offer less. Having looked around I know it can not be replaced for that. After we see some serious profit taking in the Stock market maybe things will improve.
